HAWAIIPRUS. The lost recordings of Polyhaos.Inspired by contemporary life, this album is an exploration of many themes that span the artists place of birth as well as international borders. Transhumanism, race, myth, memory etc.Innitially it was released as a limited edition of 100 copies Cd+poster and was sold out in the first week. The poster features a collaboration between Panayotis and sculptor Raissa Angeli on a visualisation of the map of Hawaiiprus.

The album describes the fictional story of a strange visitor on the island of Hawaiiprus. In the story we are told about the assimilation and integration of the visitor and also about the underlying dark behaviour of the inhabitants that eventually banished him. Polyhaos as Panayotis imagines him, leaves behind diary notes and recorded music. These are what is presented in the album. Expect to hear luscious Juno choruses, polyrhythmic modular bongos, ambient choir pads and tribal patterns in a sea of background tape noise and reverbs. The music was composed and put together by Panayotis over the course of two years during which he expanded his studio experience and live vocabulary.
